After visiting Abu Simbel, I joined a shared mini-bus to see the Temple of Isis at Philae. On the bus, was a very nice mother and daughter duo exploring Egypt together. It was a pleasure to meet them and to know that they were not only from the states, but also shared my views on fair trade.
